The Super Sleuth Boys Were Right!

That Dynamic Duo - the Super Sleuth Boys Frankie and Ernie were RIGHT.  We were so impressed we even made them an award. Mom spoke to MY park manager yesterday afternoon and indeed the Christmas trees are going to be used to help protect all the baby fish and to help with the ph of the water. We are guessing that with this many trees in the water there won't be many fish caught this year  - just lots of caught (tangled up) lines

  4. OOOOH THANK YOU FUR THE SUPER SLEUTH Award. We were just tickled that we knew WHY ... YOUR PARK was being Invaded with deaded Trees from Christmas.
Our Dad used to love to fish near the sunken trees... BUTT the big fish sometimes DID get his lines all tangled in them. I (Frankie Furter) thought THAT was pretty funny.
Dad would say a BUNCH of his Drunken Sailor Words... hehehehehe

  6. I love that award! :) Now here's what I wish someone would sleuth next: how do they sink the trees? I have seen operations of tree placement for fish habitat in lakes but never quite get how they make that floaty wood stay down!

  14. Our old dead trees (there are not many of them because we Aussies embrace the fake tree which you keep in a box) get turned into garden mulch.

Hey - mum just wanted to send a "shout out" to your mum .... we are posting lots of pictures of Port Vincent for her viewing pleasure... more to come. AND we have already booked our new summer spot for next year - Moonta Bay !! The wind got us down at Port Vincent - we will go back but will pick a camp NOT right on the beach - too windy!!
