Simpliefied Saturday

We have been very busy this past week getting ready for our move to Florida. Dogervising is such hard work - laying there watching while Mom cleans, vacuums, sweeps, washes and so on. Painting was the hardest though - we need a good chew bone to keep our energy up while Mom did that. Phew - a pups work is never done!!!!  And then just when we thought we would have the weekend to relax we had to dogervise while Mom and Dad loaded up MY van with more trash. So far we have taken TEN loads of trash to the landfill plus 3 loads to Goodwill. Mom keeps talking about the opportunity to 'downsize' and keeping only what we need - she even sold all her craft stuff and says the only thing she will be doing in the future is maybe painting occasionally.  Thankfully our mornings have been nice and sunny though so Mom has been taking us to the park to get some nice fresh air so we can be ready for more dogervising in the afternoon - here I am doing some relaxing deep breathing by the lake - breath in - breath out - breath in - breath out - relaaaaaaxxxxx.

  1. Oh I agree with you that's the hardest part of efurry moving: to snoopervise the humans...imagine they would throw away things you need or they would keep things you anyway hated, like that tooth brush beast... have a wonderful time in the park and enjoy the fresh air and the sunrays on your fur.

  6. You mom is lucky to have such great help. Moving is a great time to downsize. Lady is looking for ways to get rid of extra things all the time but is not as successful as she would like.

Glad you are still getting some outside time!

  8. OMD, Ma was wondering how you packed up your whole house in just a month! Ma was thinking she could NEVER pack everything up in a month...plus she would probably need like 87 moving vans for all her crap! I thinks she should take LOTS of loads to the dump...and replace all her crap with doggie stuffs!

  14. Packing up your whole life must be difficult! We haven't had to do that for 10 years and we surely don't look forward to doing it any time soon. That said, we cannot wait for your Florida arrival! Have a great Sunday, pals. I hope you are taking a break from packing.

Good job there, with the dogervising... and encouraging the downsizing. I did that several times in life. Yes it needed more than once. "Stuff" just gathers!!!! Sounds like you have everything in paw though, ready for the big move. Hope you are having a relax and restore kinda day today though, it being Easter Sunday... Blessings hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
