The Bestest Birthday

I have had the bestest birthday so far - it started with a walk, then a brushing (which I really could of done without Mom!) but she said I had to look presentable to go out. As if I look anything other than that !

Then Mom gave me a special breakfast with some chunks of SPAM in it! I must admit I thought SPAM was a bit weird as I am ALWAYS deleting it off my blog... but this SPAM was pawsome! Mom said it was a birthday day treat only though and I won't be getting it again until next birthday - which I am pretty sure is tomorrow isn't it Mom?

Next we headed off to the pet store. Mom told them straight away I was a birthday boy and I got not one - but a whole handful of treats. Score for the Reilly!!!! Next stop was the freezer to get me some raw bison bones - yum my favorite! I love that our local pet store carries all the raw food treats and food.













Then we checked out the toy section - but you know - I am not into toys anymore - they are cool to look at but I didn't see anything to take my fancy. I have only ever had one favorite toy which was my Blue Moose and sadly the Stuffanator (Denny) finally did him in a few months ago. The only other thing I will play with - is my tug rope.












Now the bone section - THAT was more my style and I picked up some bully sticks, some hoof things (for the dweebs - yeah I am generous on MY birthday) and some other tasty munchies. We also hit the cookie aisle and treat aisle and got some goodies there too.

Then we went to my other favorite pet store and look what Mom got me - my very own Birthday Cake from the Barkery! This is a special doggie birthday cake - thank dogness cause otherwise Dad would be into it!

And here I am back home with my birthday stash. We got some new grain free food for me to try, some shampoo for my itchies (thanks Mom - but NO bath today okay!) and lots of treats which can you believe it - Mom says I can't have all of them today that I have to spread them out. MOM ! Birthdays are for piggin out on! Oh well at least my birthday goodies will last a couple of weeks!
