Out and about on a sunny day

Mom has been pondering over what park she can take us old pups to that doesn't have steps and doesn't require a lot of walking - then she remembered a small park along the the St Johns rivers and off we went. It doesn't have the greatest beach but we did get to see some pink spoonbills which was pretty neat and of coarse we got to read and leave lots of pee-mail.

Guess who !

YES ! We are still around - getting on in years and slowing down but we are still both super cute and very modest....... ga woof ga woof.

Both me and the Dweeb brother of mine have arthritis now in our hips and back legs so we don't get out and about much anymore and the old ancient Mom has back issues and can't lift us in and out of the car by herself - she can't even pick up the ramp she bought to help us get in the car - really - what use is the woman !

We spend our days snoozing, driving Mom crazy and patrolling the yard because Mom being the dumb dumb she is ...loves squirrels and raccoons and insists on feeding them - so it was no surprise that Mrs Racoon bought all 4 of her babies visiting recently. They are now ALL daily visitors and every morning Mom makes them a smorgasbord of fresh bananas, apples, oranges, strawberries,  peanuts and sunflower seeds.

Mom has even given them all names. Of coarse there is Mrs Raccoon, Then there is Whiskers - she is always wiping her whiskers. Then there is Flopper - Mom called him this because as soon as he gets on the food table - he flops down and covers everything up - basically saying "its all mine". Then there is groundhog - for some reason he doesn't like to climb and stays on the ground (we didn't get a photo of him today as he's very shy) - Mom puts a plate of food out on the ground just for him.  Lastly there is Pavarotti who always looks like he is singing- He cracks Mom up with his antics.
