Gotta Enjoy It While You Can

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

We had 10 days of high 90's  but the last two days it has been the most wonderful mid 70's and we have been taking full advantage of it. Best of all - the heat seems to killed of the ticks so we can go walking without fearing the nasty critters will latch on to us.

Today after going around the lake we went off the beaten path again - Mom spotted a sign showing a walking path through the trees - yet another place we haven't been before  - we can not believe we keep finding all these neat hidden places in MY park.

The Velcro Kid was his usual sticky self except when we were going up-hill and then he would lag behind me. Can you believe Mom actually said he was "smart" doing this - because he was letting ME pull him up the hill!!!!

We also came across this weird and not very dog friendly bridge that I got my foot stuck in. Mom to the recuse though - she freed me, checked me over and I was fine and off we went again. I will have to have barks with MY park employees about this bridge!

  6. What an amazing park with so many lovely trails. We've had a lousy spring/summer here either it's raining or it's too darn hot and humid with too few nice days.
