♪ ♫ Let it sleet - Let it sleet - Let it sleet ♫ ♪

Here in Arkansas we have been very lucky to have had a fairly mild winter to date - and compared to other parts of the USA we still are. It is a nice 24  F degrees today (which is - 4 in Celsius)  and the sun is now shining bright and we are loving the cold. Just after midnight though it started sleeting and it sleeted all the way through until about 10.00 am this morning - so instead of nice soft snow to play in - we just got lots of crunchy sleet - which is okay cause it tastes like a shaved ice to us. Mom says thank goodness we have colored heads of you wouldn't be able to see us :)  We know many of our buddies in the northern USA are really battling snow and blizzards and we have our paws crossed that you will all be safe and warm and that your electricity stays on.

  3. Yes, your beautiful body furs do blend in quite well with that sleety stuff. As you have seen, we did get some nice white fluffy snow and it did make us very happy. Well, maybe not Phantom so much - he didn't liek the cold:(

We hope you get a bit of fluffy snow before Spring arrives.

  5. you stay warm too! We are mostly battling ridiculously frigid temps. Our "high" was 9 today and that is going to be about the average for the next few days

  6. Your mum's right, you nearly look headless!

We've been having a wet, mild summer. It is too hot during the middle of the day to go out, but we have no problems with the mornings or evenings....much cooler than South Australia.

We have friends in Rhode Island, and they're getting tired of all the snow.

  7. We really like those pictures of u in the snow. Not sure how to describe what we saw... Its like we saw a portrait of your faces, but when u look at the pictures closer we could see the rest of your body, it wasnt all just a white background. Its really neat. You guys have a pawsome super talent to blend in with the snow.

  12. Gosh guys, I am well impressed. Your coats look sparkling white even against the snow. Gail always says my coat looks dirty when contrasted with freshly fallen snow (although I am not sure that can be true!)

  24. Crikey ..... you blokes BLEND, aye?? Just as well you've got heads or we wouldn't be able to see you at all. That's awful cold temperatures. Our weather is a bit crazy at the moment too. Hot and humid and there is a tropical low off the coast which may turn into a cyclone and is predicted to hit right here at Noosa. It's VERY windy although still hot. We are supposed to get tons and tons of rain over the next few days. It's started already. We have just arrived home after being away for 4 weeks. Just as well we did. At least we can prepare the house just in case it does hit. Crazy weather!!!!!!
