We will never forget

Fourteen years ago on September 10th Mom arrived in the USA for the very first time. Dad was waiting for her at San Fransisco and they then flew to Detroit where Dad was working. The next day something that none of us will EVER forget happened.

Today we say a special prayer for all those that lost their lives on that day, for all the families that lost loved ones. We also want to give HUGE and heart felt thanks to all the medical staff, firefighters, first responders, military, ambulance drivers, police and all the search and rescue dogs who worked so hard to help in what ever way they could.

Meanwhile, back in OZ, the YAMster awoke to such news as to be thought (at first) a very poor joke... then the cold set into the bones. Ever etched in memory. Lovely memorial boys. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  9. What an incredible graphic!!! Our Dad was in NYC that day, safe but still very close to the towers. He and Mom will never forget the experiences he had over the next few days or the terrible losses our country suffered that day.

Paws crossed and heads bowed here in silent tribute to our many heroes.
