The Joy of Chasing Seagulls

I the Reilly dog have suddenly discovered the joy and exhilaration of chasing seagulls - I walk nonchalantly near them, pretending not to give them the time of day but watching them out the corner of my eye the whole time and then WHAM when they least expect it -  I give a few of my BIG dog barks and off they go....... wings all a flutter and flapping, squawking their silly heads off -  with me in hot pursuit - chasing them off MY beach -  dog oh dog talk about fun.
Sneak up nonchalantly
Woof and scatter them
Chase after all the slow ones
Telling them off for being on MY beach
Check for any stragglers
Job well done !

  5. Good for you, Reilly! Mom says that seagulls are evil because they steal lunches while peeps are swimming and having fun!

  8. Reilly, I'm impressed.
Our seagulls in Aberdeen are so huge I'd be a bit frightened of chasing one.

  13. Personally, we haven't had the pleasure of chasing gulls. BUTT, chasing cockatoos, magpies, ravens, galahs....etc. is such fun, we're sure gulls would be fun, too. So GO Reilly!

  21. That would be fun. The last time I did that was the last time I was off leash in an unfenced area. I just kept running down the beach finding more and more Seagulls. Mom was scared and mad. She wishes she could let us go to chase away the awful Canadian Geese around here, but we can't be trusted to come back.
