You have got to be dogging us!

Can you believe Mom says THIS is our new ride - what the dog! Where is the back seat, the air-conditioning and the floor for Denny to lay on?  This is Mom's new Beach Cruiser - it is bike made specifically for riding on the beach as well as the road. Mom totally loves it as it has no gears and a back peddle brake - all the things she grew up with :)  And check out the fancy paint work and trim. Now we do have to question Mom's sanity as there is no way either us would fit in that basket or on that rack on the back - but Mom says not to worry - she us getting us a special doggie trailer that will attach to the bike. Personally I think an air conditioned doggie RV would be much better but sometimes you just have to nod a lot and say "okay Mom - what ever you say Mom :)"

What can we say - it is a beautiful 70 degrees here today with bright sunny blue skies and a gentle breeze. We hit the beach and watched the dolphins playing in the surf - life is soooooo tough :)

There we were walking along the beach when we spotted something yellow in the water - Mom went over to get it and it was a tennis ball which got Denny all excited as he LOVES his tennis balls - Mom chuckled when she saw it though as it was a "Wilson" brand tennis ball

Most the days Katie and her Mom were here were bright and sunny. Katie's Mom Miss Dawn was worried how Katie would react to the sounds of the waves - but she took it all in her stride and just like me - she wanted to sniff along the high tide mark where all the best smells are - she's a girl after my own heart :)

Not every day is sunny

While Katie was visiting our Moms decided to get up very early and we all headed down to the beach to watch the sun rise over the ocean - there was just one problem a big old sea fog rolled in everywhere looked dark and grey and it was a chilly 50 degrees (we know you are laughing but it was cold for here in Florida).  Miss Dawn took this wonderful photo of Mom and us as we strolled along.

When Katie Came To Town

OMG - My most beautiful little girl friend the Princess Katie came all the way from Michigan to visit MEEEEEE here in Florida. We and the Moms have been having just the best time for the last four days - going to the beach visiting my parks and just getting to know each other. And guess what else - Princess Katie's Mom has given us her blessing and after 9 years of knowing each other and 6 years of dating - Katie and I are now officially engaged!

Happy Birthday Mom

Today we are celebrating 4 special birthdays here in blogville. First are our buddies Stanley and Murphy - they are having their 5th birthday. Then there is Lassie and Benji's Mom - Teresa  today and finally there is our Mom today - Happy Birthday to all of you.
