A dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do

I have been busy 'mom sitting' today - no not sitting on her, but curled up next to her. Mom and I went to bed last night (he heee! dad is away so I got to sleep on the big bed) and everything was fine last night but when mom went to get up this morning she could hardly stand and she was in a lot of pain. So I made her stay in bed most of the day and laid quietly with her letting her stroke my ears and head and rub my tummy when she was awake and snoozing when she snoozed. It's a tough life but a dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do ......and I must admit my mom is always taking care of me so a day relaxing with her and keeping her company isn't too bad.

PS (Paws Stop) Mom if feeling a little better now.

Quite right buddy, you've gotta do what you've gotta do. Oh, life can be tough sometimes, can't it? :-)

Well, we hope that your Mom will be feeling a lot better soon and will keep our paws crossed for her.

Our Ma has just started coughing, so she's not feeling very well either.

Mom's not being well isn't good -who will pamper to our needs, food, play, treats and yes even exercise - hmmm come to think of it I LOVE WALKS!!!!! Make sure you take care of your mom - cuddles and snuggles are great medicine I have found.

Oo you did such a good job of taking care of your Mum today! It's not fun when Mum's don't feel good. Mine didn't feel good today either, I tried to bite her on the but to help her but she said that didn't work! LOL

We hope your Mum feels better soon. Essex remembers her first Thanksgiving and Essexmas with Dad. He got sick with a fever before the day started both times. She laid down near the bed, patiently watching out for him.
