Ouchy ouchy ouchy

Shhhhh don't tell anyone, but when I get a bit bored I like to go outside and chew on the tree branches. Well last night the tree got me back!!! Mom was watching me shaking my head and rolling around and called me inside....and I was pawing at my mouth and shaking my head. Mom somehow knew straight away what was going on (Mom here - it's not the first time). Anyway, mom eventually got hold of me and after a bit of prying got my mouth open, and yep, there it was, a small twig jammed in between my back teeth going right across the roof of my mouth. (Mom here - in exactly the same place it was last time!!!) She pulled it straight out and dog oh dog....it was such a relief as this time it was really diggin in and even bled a little. Mom also says she I should have learned from the last time.....but what is a dog to do when it's cold and he is bored and there are tree branches hanging down where I can reach them (if I jump high enough). Anyway, here I am afterwards looking rather sheepish under the computer table. But you know what the best thing is......when mom went shopping this morning, she bought me a big yummy marrow bone to chew on instead !!!!

  1. Oh, Reilly, how did you get a twig stuck on your mouth? I chew on sticks and twigs all the time, so I better learn from you and be more careful! Hope the bone was yummy!

  2. Haha, Reilly, you should shake paws with my brother Josh, he keeps doing the same thing but he's not had a twig jammed between his back yet :) The Mama had to go out this morning and get us some pigs' ears so we stop gnawing away on our trees.

  3. Wow, your Mom sure is smart. It is always good to have someone out there that has your six. Your Dog Dad will know what that means.

  4. ut oh Reilly! You must be more careful or you could end up getting hurted bad. Good that you got a bone out of it though, I might give that a try. I almost chewed up a pencil sharpener this morning, mum found it just in time.

  5. Wow Reilly, eating sticks? Katie hasn't done that, wonder why not. Oh wait, yes she did once...maybe we're just lucky she didn't get a piece stuck in her mouth. Everything she finds DOES end up in her mouth though, just like you, huh? Hope your mouth is feeling better now though!

  6. Yeouch Reilly that doesn't sound good at all! I'm glad your Mum got the stick outta your mouth.

There was a sticker in my paw last weekend at flyball and it hurt so I stood there and couldn't walk and held up my paw. And guess what? The Mum took it out! Wow that was neat, before i came here to live I had to get them out myself!
