So where was I going??

I know some of you are probably wondering where I was going yesterday, especially when I looked so happy. Well this will probably confirm to many of you what a strange dog I am.....I was going to the V.E.T.s. It was time for the second of my leptospirosis shots and although I am not fond of actually getting the shots I do love to see my Dr Boyer - she just adores me and says I am her most favorite dog because I never squirm or whinge or cry. I just stand there calmly and let her do what ever she needs to do. Here I am at the Animal Hospital where my Dr Boyer works and see, I am just as happy inside there too. She also says I have beautiful white teeth with no tarter on them, my ears are all nice and clean, my eyes are bright and shiny and my heart and lungs are good and strong. She says I am a very healthy boy.....(oh mommmmmmm do I have to tell them).......okay she did call me a bit of a "chunky monkey" and says I need to loose some of my "winter padding" and suggested more walks!!!!!!!!!!!! Dog oh dog......was I happy to hear that!!! Mom says we can set up our agility coarse outside again now the spring weather is here to stay and that is a good way to burn up some of that chunky monkeyiness. Personally I think there are just some little of those little chunky monkey things hiding in my fur.....maybe if I have a good shake they will fall out.

  4. Hmm...you DO look happy at your vet's office! Katie always looks terrified. The vet once told me that our previous sheltie was "portly!" Katie is at the top of her weight limit too. Must have been a long hard winter!

  8. I never would've guessed that you were on your way to the VET, Reilly! I love my vet too, but I am not a fan of going to her office.

Guess I wasn't the only one to gain a little weight over the winter - but I have already lost it and you can too - especially with more walks and outdoor agility!

  9. My vet told me the same thing! It must be a conspiracy to get our humans to walk us more? I like it. =)

  11. Yes, it must all be the fur. You should go out in the rain because my Mum bees complaining lately that her furs is shrinking in the wash, hehe.
