Time for our weekly bone and for today's tempting tasties we have some big old beef bones. Of coarse - me being the BIG dog and pack leader - I got the BIGGEST one. Dweeb 2 got the medium sized bone and Dweeb 1 got the smallest. Personally I don't think Dweebs deserve bones but I guess if it keeps them away from me and my bone I will reluctantly allow it.
You know - we heard that some doggies never get bones !!!! Mom has always believed a bone is good for our teeth and at 5 years old I don't have any plaque on my teeth and they are in excellent condition - so it must be working!
Our vet recommends raw chicken wings but I can't have any as they would probably be buried in the garden and then after they are covered in soil in the bed. Have a marvelous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Oh, yes. The raw noms are wonderful for your teefers! Even Duncan's old fart teefers look wonderful for his age and for being mostly a kibble dog until three years ago. And my teefers can be seen from space. Raw noms rock!!!
ReplyDeleteOh man, Reilly...we're drooling all over mom's computer... We love bones and they DO keep our teefers clean!

I keep thinking about getting bones for my guys. But I had a dog crack a tooth on a bone, and have been to nervous to try again. Right now the collies just get antlers, which they like, and cow hooves, which they love!
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! Oh my that's HUGE. Never had one so ENJOY! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, Milo the Jack Russell loves to get a nice yummy bone!
ReplyDeleteWow, enjoy those awesome bones! :-D I've never had one, but I'm sure that they are delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou guys just get the best bones! I need to get some raw ones for Freddie and Gloria, I just don't want to give it to them in the house.
ReplyDeleteWow, those are huge bones!! Gnaw, gnaw, gnaw! My guys have never had bones. Maybe I'll get them one for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOh, man we NEED to add those to our Santa list!!! Yummmmm.
ReplyDeleteOur bones never have that much meat left on them.

I feed raw, so my dogs get bones a lot. However, I avoid feeding cow bones, especially leg bones, due to the hardness, which risks fracturing the teeth.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious!
ReplyDeleteOh Reilly, I hope those bone pictures will inspire my mom to get me some BIG bones today.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so lucky!
Hi guys, we don't get beef bones because a couple of us have allergies to beef but we do get raw bison bones and a few knuckles and they're really good.
ReplyDeleteWe are all trying to get a lick of that bone through the screen. Mom can never find any good ones like that for us here - only little small marrow bones. Yours looks so yummy and fresh. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Wow - yummy looking bones!
ReplyDeleteKatie has never had something like this. I'm sure she'd be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are the luckiest dogs ever!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
You're making me drool!
ReplyDeleteI always get a nice big bone like that once a week, usually on Sundays. Momma says it is the only time I go "animal." Not sure what she means by that.
