Monday Munchies

Mom went and had some of her stitches out this morning (the rest will come out next Monday) - but on the way home she went to our favorite pet store and picked us up some munchies. She found us these yummy Moo Chews - which are dried cow ears but they are not oily like the pig ears are.  We thoroughly enjoyed them especially as we are having the most beautiful blue sky day and it was wonderful to sit outside. And check out MY tree - it is finally changing color. Mom and Dad planted this tree just for ME so I would have a nice shady spot in summer to lay on the grass. It seems kind of odd to have such wonderful weather when so much devastation was caused with tornado's yesterday through the central part of the USA and our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected by them. One of the tornado's actually did a lot of damage to a town Mom and Dad lived in when they were in Indiana. We sure hope all our buddies are safe if they live in those areas.

  9. Glad to hear your mom is getting better and could take you shopping for treats. I hate when the leaves come down because they stick to my hair and I can not move until my mom removes them, but I like your tree.

  11. Sending paw prayers for your mom's speedy recovery! You must be having a late Fall all of our leaves are gone. Especially after yesterday's storms. We even had tornado warnings in the city! But we were lucky compared to those south of us, unbelievable carnage. Love Dolly

  12. WE are so happy that your mom has had SOME of her stitches taken out. That means she is getting BETTER.

We have never seen the Cow Ears... Mom doesn't think much of the PIG Ears... they USED to be nice and Dry.. and then they started to be really GREASY so we don't get them.
THANK YOU fur telling us about the Cow Ears.

  19. My paws are still crossed for your mom, hope all goes well. What's better than to eat a dried cow ear under this gorgeous tree? The ears are noted on our bucket list, it sounds goo that they aren't as greasy as the pig ears (hope also the smell is better LOL)

  22. I hope Mommy is feeling ok. I am glad you got treats and are having such a nice day. We had the storms but we are lucky with no real serious damage and very little power loss. I am crossing paws for our other pals that might have been affected by them.
