Picture this - Researchers standing around watching 7000 of us doggies peeing and pooping with compasses in hand to check which way we align ourselves when taking a wizz. Doh - even we doggies are laughing at this one!Well it appears we like a north south orientation - whoop te doo! We are shaking our heads wondering what use knowing this information will be....as compared to doing REAL research into something important like doggie cancer? Hmm maybe if peeps get lost they can follow our pee and poop trails to find there way home :) :)

I read that this morning....interesting about the north-south thing though, I find it to be quite true, but I didn't have to do "research" to figure that out!

ReplyDeleteSo MOM has been paying attention to OUR alignment... and guess what... WE do the North South thingy fur POOPING.. when we have the chance to. It depends on which place we are... when the "MOOD" hits us... If we are In our safe pen... not so much... butt when we are out in the YARD... we do the North South thingy.
BUTT our big question is WHY peeps pay so much attention to our Peeing and Pooping???
BOL! I will say that I did discover Hunter's trait before he poops is one that most Bichons have-he does circles before he lets loose.

Yes, we read this on a dog forum we use and we were bad laughing too! Ridiculous! I do not believe this is true! My dog's poo anywhere they like outside - soon, with advance technology, they'll have google maps in there butts! BOL!!!

The peeps were discussing this at the river yesterday. But they decided that it may have more to do with which way the truck tyres were facing...bwahaahaa! (Let's hope there was no taxpayers money involved in that study.)

In the winter Katie's a east-west kind of girl cause that's the way the path is through the snow that her Dad made for her pooping pleasure. So that sort of shoots this research all to heck. Big waste of money.
