Body Surfing Dolphins

The tide was super high this morning so we had to walk up on the soft sand - I must admit I quite enjoyed having all these tufts of grass to sniff at. Mom isn't so fond of it though as it makes her knees hurt if she walk in it for to long. By time we made it to the end of the beach the tide was starting to go out so we were able to walk back along the tide line. Mom also spent ages watching these two dolphins - they were body surfing and jumping through the waves and just seemed to be having so much fun. We couldn't get any really great photos as the sea mist started to roll in and the camera was having trouble focusing. They are also super fast and whenever she pointed the camera to where she thought they were - they would pop up  20-30 feet away from there :) We did get one good shot of them having fun in the waves and then as they headed out to deeper water.

  9. That is so amazing! Our Jessy human said that once she was on a beach in New Jersey on the fourth of July. There were lots of dolphins out that day. She thinks they all came to see the fireworks.

  16. You always manage to capture something fun and exciting to see on your walks. Mom says she doesn't like walking in the very soft sand either, too hard on the back and on keeping balance:(
