Run Free My Sweet Little Denny

My beautiful Denny left us this morning..... he went very peacefully in my arms as I softly stroked his beautiful face and told him how much we all loved him. His kidneys had stopped working. Run free my sweet little boy.

  10. This is heartbreaking. He was such a sweet little man. I loved it when he finally trusted me enough to come get a pat or a toy or a treat. Especially a treat. I'm thankful I got to spend time with them both last April. Thank you for that. Run free sweetie, no pain, no fear, only happy times over the bridge.

  19. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm over here from Dawn and Katie's blog (our Shelties are about the same age). My Dallas was diagnosed with kidney issues earlier in the year, but he refused to eat the special diet, so I've put him back on the stuff he was on before. Losing a beloved member of the family is the worst. Run free, Denny, and be glad you're not in pain anymore!

  22. I am sure that Sherman was waiting to greet Denny. Denny was a pawsome pup. It is always tough when they leave so young.

  23. We are sure Sherman was there to greet Denny. It is ruff on hooomans, when a pup crosses the bridge. Katie told us Reilly is having a ruff go of it too. We hope that Reilly stays with you several more years. The world needs more Cow Spot Dogs.

We thought we left a comment behind several days ago, but we don't see it. Sigh.

    Dog Speed,

    Gemini & Dog Dad
