We have a winner - HallBark Kardz

Voting was unanimous on this one - our new bloggie (for selling our pets cards etc) will be called HallBark Kardz. Thank you to everyone who voted and a BIG thank you to Amber-Mae for the name - please contact me with your mailing addy and what cards you would like. The new blog will be online a couple of days :)

And just a gentle reminder - Word Verification is annoying and frustrating for people with vision and dyslexia problems (like my Mom and many many others) - so please consider setting comments to "approval needed" instead. NOTE FROM MOM : It can take me fives tries sometimes to get word verification right - that is frustrating !!

To do this go click on the tab "Settings" - then click on the sub tab Comments. Scroll down to the page until you see this - Click "Comment Moderation" to "ALWAYS" and show word verification to "NO". This allows YOU to have full control of your comments and prevent spam or unwanted comments appearing on you site.

    Great name! Thanks for mentioning the word verification issue. It really takes up lots of extra time when trying to comment on friends blogs.

    Very cool name for your new blog!

    Blogger seems to be doing better at stopping spam. For awhile I did use word verification, but since I stopped (and don't even bother with the moderation part) no spam.

    Hu-dad with his trifocals (though they are now called "progressive" glasses - how nice) often struggles with the word verification too. It prevents us from commenting more.

    My mom says thanks for the word verification tip, she had never really thought about it from that point of view. She will change it on my blog. Thanks for checking out my blog and all the nice things you said about my name. I love the name Cowspotdog, many people say I look like a cow, or vaca (that is how they say it here in Puerto Rico). Also love the new name for the Kardz. Bark at you soon!
