We had the tornado sirens going off most of the night and for quite some time during the worst of it Dad, Mom, me and "IT" were all huddled in the laundry room. We got up this morning and look what had happened to my fence ! And what really SUCKS - is they just finished fixing it yesterday from when part of it blew down two weeks ago ! Mom is very upset because she had a nesting box on the fence and a pair of bluebirds had moved in - it was their box that hit the ground. Here I am checking to see if they are still in there - but sadly no, they have left. Goodness knows how long it will take to get the fence fixed again as quite a few of our neighbors also have damage.
We are sorry to hear about your fence. We are so glad to hear you and your humans are SAFE though. Oh, the poor birdies, we hope they found a new home somewhere safe during the storm. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
ReplyDeleteTerrible news about your fence. Glad everyone is okay. Hope the birds come back.
ReplyDeleteIt's awful that your fence blew down again but I am happy that you all are ok! We had a terrible thunderstorm and tornado sirens went off too but we were lucky!
ReplyDeleteThat looks pretty bad!! I'm so glad you guys are safe though. Sounds like the tornados are hitting everywhere badly!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I know just how scary those sirens are! I'm glad you're all okay. I'm sick of tornadoes already!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother round of terrible storms. We are so sorry about your fence. At least it is something that can be repaired and not a loss of life. As much as we all love spring, Mother Nature is not behaving very well.
ReplyDeleteTake care.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your fence. Katy and I hate storms. We read your other post about the birds and we are glad they are OK. We are not fond of squirrels, but we protect the birds.
