I love when the BIG DOG goes and has his laser therapy - cause it means I get a bone all to myself while he is at the vets and I can chomp away on it without having to worry he might take it - not that he ever does - he is VERY cunning - he just waits and waits until I have to get a drink or get distracted and in those few seconds I leave a bone unguarded - it becomes his even when he has one of his own! Of coarse I do the same thing to him - but that is different cause I am Denny-Wenny and I am cute so it is allowed!
Mom says I am "blowing" my puppy coat at last - we have to go outside cause when she brushes me because the fur flies everywhere. See on the grass - that is my furs!!!! But guess what - Mom says I am helping all the little birdies in the neighborhood - see they have started nest building already and we see them picking up lots of tufts of MY fur. The babies will be soft and cozy in their Denny lined nest boxes this year.
BOL! Maybe after I furminate the dogs, I should leave their fur outside for the birds, not a bad idea! Enjoy the bone while you can!
ReplyDeleteWe always leave the Golden hair outside too. Have a great day!

Glad you got to chomp for awhile. Hope the VET visit went well

WOOFWOOF!!! Buddy does that to me and my boney ALL THE TIME. He has gotten so sneaky and so quiet while he does it that I barely see him do it... even when I Blink. And he has his own boney too! All I have to do is turn my eyes away and then back and its gone!! Must be nice to be able to chomp away to your hearts desire!
ReplyDeletethat is a good idea about leaving the hair outside for the birdies..we have soft hair and they would like that...maggie the mean baby monster at our house often steals my bones, toys, and bed....sigh......

We agree you are indeed helping the little birdies make lovely comfy nests.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
We were thinking about the birds making nests out of your fur before you even mentioned it. Some lucky babies there.
ReplyDeleteYou have to take your opportunities as they come up. Glad you get to chew in peace.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
OH, what a great idea! I'm going to start leaving furballs out for the birds too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your "alone time" Denny!
You are so sweet and giving to help keep the baby birds nice and warm.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
BOL! That is soooo sweet of you Denny to leave your furs for the little birdies!! They are gonna come back and thank you for it later I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteYups, that bone sure looks great!
Have a great afternoon!
Kisses,
Ruby
Hi Denny, I didn't know that Reilly gets lasered. I get lasered too. There are five areas that they concentrate on - my left and right ear, both inside and out, my front legs and my back. What areas does Reilly get done? That's a nice bone Denny, what kind is it?
ReplyDeleteGood idea Denny to leave your furs to the birdies! I hope the big dog's treatment went well.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of fuzz for the birdies...they love you, Denny!!

Oh what a sweet boy you are, Denny. It's very kind of you leaving your furs for the little birdies. Their home is warm and cozy at last.
ReplyDeleteI'll never leave my bone unattended and I'll make sure I've finished the last bit before I move on to some other activities. Mika is cunning and he is really patient.

The birdies are thanking you for their wonderfully soft new blankies, Denny!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
We have constant bone wars here. Your Mom is smart to take you outside. We have what Mom calls hair bombs that seem to go off when she takes out the brushes. Hair which was behaving seems to just poof out in huge attack formations.
ReplyDeleteThat's neat. The birds are using recycled furs for their nests. Pawsome.
ReplyDeleteThat is some pawsome coat blowing Denny.
