We started off our day by going for a car ride in MY car to our favorite Pet Store - Hollywood Feed. We got lots of pats (except Dweeb #2 - Denny) who spent his whole time hiding behind Mom. We did a lot of sniffing and checking out the new toys and treats and then Mom said we could get one special treat each. Their was no choice - it had to be a raw beef marrow bone - more of that later. Then we got salmon treats from the nice lady that works there and more pats from some peoples that came in.
After the Pet Store Mom and 'ITS' Mom quickly went into the Craft store and got some more fleecy material to make Dweeb #1 (Jackie) some more coats. Next Mom surprised us - instead of going home she took us to the park - WOW WOW WOW - so much pee-mail to read and so many leaves to crunch through. Mom wasn't very happy with us - we were so excited and wanted to sniff so much that she couldn't get any really good photos. Dweeb #1 and his Mom even checked out and old round-about - do your Mom and Dads remember those?
We finally headed home and after a big drink we all settled down with our yummy marrow bones. Me being the civilized dog I am ate mine inside on the rug - I don't like getting my bones all dirty outside. The Dweebs of coarse don't care if they get dirt and grass on their bones and quickly took theirs outside. Yummers - getting to that marrow in the middle is just the best bit and we can spend hours doing just that. So all in all - we have had a wonderful day. We sure hope you have a terrific day too.

ReplyDeleteIF we ever get to have one of those BIG marrow bones, it would definitely be an outside only or crate only event for us. We know just what you mean about that marrow in the middle, Reilly. You are making us all drool.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, the Momster remembers those roundabouts - many summers she spent getting dizzy on them:)
