I HATE Canadian Geese !!! There I have said it - does that make me a racist dog? Not that I have anything against Canadians in fact Mom says she loved it when her and Dad went there. It is just the Canadian Geese. I don't mind the white geese even though they honk and hiss even worse than the Canadian geese and I don't mind the ducks...............but for some reason those Canadian Geese have me stomping my boots and wanting to grab their tail feathers. Now I have never had a bad encounter with any of them, none have ever attacked me or tried to peck me....but for some reason I just don't like THEM in particular.
Notice my "tail held high" that is my way of looking even bigger to them. Of coarse the goose chasing would be much more effective if I didn't have the Dweeb Ball & Chain holding me back. There is just nothing more satisfying than a good goose chasing session - that will teach them for pooping all over MY park!!!!
How dare they invade YOUR park!
ReplyDeleteI bet you could get a job at the airport, chasing the geese away Reilly!
There's so many of them, have to be chasing them whenever you get a chance. But you want to know what's worse than Canada Geese, Trumpeter Swans! They are mean and big and they will chase you. I found that out when I was in England. They look pretty but watch out, even the Canada Geese stayed away from them.
ReplyDeleteLOL we'd be so at them too given half a chance. Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
They are protected here where we live so we have millions of them stopping off each and every day, on the river and lakes.....lots of poop!
ReplyDeleteand they don't even haf to pick it up.
Stella Rose
How rude of them to invade and poop in your park :( What a shame you couldn't have fun chasing them just the once. Milo & Jet
ReplyDeleteI wonder if their poop is as good and the rabbit poop. Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteBentley
Don't laugh but I never saw such a bird. It's like a duck, but bigger, right? But I agree with you, to poop everywhere in your park needs action. Maybe they should read Sugars "scoop-the-poop"-campaign?
ReplyDeleteCanada Geese are mean SOB's - Mum was feeding them at the park and one came up behind and pecked her bum...
ReplyDeleteOh how we laughed!

We took Scarlett to see the turkeys yesterday, and she feels the same way about the turkeys! All the fur on her back was standing on end, and she was keeping a safe distance from what she called "ugly, dinosaur birds!"
ReplyDeleteHey - I had a goose (not sure if it was canadian or not) chase me as I was making my way into a farmer's market a couple weeks back - so I say - it's chase or be chased! Chase away! It's best to get the upper hand with those particular birds!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we don't like crows...or magpies...or...shoot, we don't like birds much, so we completely understand you.
ReplyDeleteGet those geese!
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Just hold off a little longer until Santa Paws has been this year.
Those Canadian geese are notorious noxious poopers! Thank goodness we do not get many of them down here. I would have to chase them back up north!
ReplyDeleteOz
We are in your corner with this one guyz... We have to say that WE think these Canada Geese are FURST CUSSINS to Squirrels. They come around and just TAKE OVER and they poop EVERYWHERE... and it really is VILE..

Oh I don't like Canadian Geese either! I had a Mother Goose try and attack me once! Barks and licks and love, Dakota
ReplyDeleteYes, and why are you on a leash out there in YOUR park, with invaders on the lose, we get them here also, they poop on everything, they are nasty!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
We don't like Canada Geese either and we're part Canadian. They poop greenish stuff and they poop everywhere. We'd be happy if they sent a few of them somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteHow daring!!!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any Canadian Geese here and I only have crows and pigeons or sometimes some tiny sparrows. My mom hates those pigeons as they take our patio as their toilet. :(
Even us Canadians don't like Canada geese, they invade our parks and leave poop everywhere too.
ReplyDeletePS-They aren't Canadian Geese-they aren't citizens of Canada, they are Canada Geese.

I don't like them either! They are a real nuisance in the suburbs and poop everywhere! I gave them a real good chase in the forest preserve one time. Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteThe only good thing about Canada Geese is chasing them!
