It warmed up to 50 degrees yesterday - so even though she shouldn't have (that is what Dad says - not US) Mom took us to the park for a quick walk and sniff. It was over a week before Mom could get MY car out the the garage because of the ice storm we had and then it has just been so cold she wouldn't go outside. The paths around the lake were still all icy but the road was clear so we walked along that. Scrunching in those leaves sure was fun - thank you Mom :)
It's minus 16F here, so no walks to the park for my boys. It's just TOO COLD!

ReplyDeleteOh Guys, wasn't it wonderful yesterday, to get out and visit with the world. We had 68 degrees, lots of running, barking, even Dad out in his shop, but the sun puddles were the bestest!

We are so glad that you took your mom out fur some fresh air and exercise. Of course you need to be careful that she doesn't OVER DO it. We are just glad that the weather cooperated and that your mom was up to it.

We are getting more snow, right now, but we heard that it should be in the 50's later in the week. We are hoping that we can get in a hike tomorrow!

We got our temps back in the 50's too! I guess our peeps like to walk us more with warmer temps too. They are kinda wussy with freezing weather!
