One little cowspotdog lives up to his name - he is sooooo happy spring is here and the greenery is starting to appear because this little 'cow' boy' LOVES to graze. Mom always worry he is going to eat something that will be poisonous or make him sick but hes been grazing for two years now with no ill effects and even though Mom tries to stop him he just has to taste everything as he going past it or any time we stop for a rest. And people wonder I why I call him the Dweeb!
Well, the Dweeb..um...Denny...might come in handy this summer keeping the weeds down!
ReplyDeleteWe have been trying that too and peeps get really annoyed as it makes me sick. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I love to graze. Nom, nom, nom. It's an extra treat when I find rabbit poop.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
Snorts. That cracks me up every single time you call him Dweeb! But wait a minute - when I go outside into nature - now mind you it's not often - I sometimes graze too... call me DweebPiggy! Double snorts. XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of those….one is into flowers….!!!
ReplyDeleteNot a Dweeb at All... WE both LOVE to Graze. We call it YARD SALAD. SOOOOOO Yummy... Our grass is just now starting to turn green also.. OH those TENDER shoots... they will be YUMMY. We are with you ALL the Way to the Great Salad bowl, Denny.
ReplyDeleteCan Oreo be an honorary cowdog? He does the same thing all summer. Yet another way he and Denny are alike :)
ReplyDeleteI like to eat grass too, but sometimes it makes me to a carnivore geyser :o) Have a wonderful Monday
ReplyDeleteI've been grazing a bit to lately
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Why maybe the Dweeb has the right idea. Greens are good for you. Why they have no fats or cholesterol and Dweeb is not eating another species.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

Oh! Sugar can relate ... did something similar this weekend so she lost her privilege to be off leash. You guys be safe on your walk. Golden Woofs

Phantom is a grazer too - Mom thnks he does it to soothe his tummy. When we on our "regular" walk, there is one small patch of grass that Ciara and Lightning like to nibble on - it is almost like clockwork that they both stop at this one very small patch. Bizarre.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
I'll eat anything so no comment! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteOh Denny, I TOTALLY get it dude!! I would eat everything green if Ma would let me! (sometimes I sneak a nibble when her back is turned..shhhh, don't tell her, K?)
ReplyDeleteButts, my stomach isn't as strong as yours and I gets the runs when I do it, so that's why all our plants are in jail...
Anyhu, happy grazin'!!! (hey, eat some for me pal!)
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
There is nothing better than a lovely, sweet, spring-fresh blade or 87 of grass!

I think dogs have an inbuilt sense of what they can eat and what will make them sick.
ReplyDeleteLynne

ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie

ReplyDeletestella rose

This post is making my peep super happy right now. See, I love to graze. It's how I got my name because after 48 hours of living here, all the daisies were eaten. My peep is glad to know you haven't gotten sick from grazing!
ReplyDeleteoxox

Harlow and Monty love to eat grass and I worry about the same things! Happy Spring, silly one!
ReplyDeleteMonty and Harlow
Hahaha, a true Cowspot dog! I do that too, but my peeps don't really mind because if I'm sick, it brings up anything else funny in my tummy that I might have picked up with the grass.
ReplyDeletePippa :)
I think that it's good that your mom keeps a sharp eye out for stuff. You should only eat stuff that your mom or a trusted friend gives you.
