Good things come in small sizes

Mom says good things come in small sizes and the treasures we found today were certainly that. First off was this cool little crab - it looks big in the picture because mom took a close up it but it was actually tiny. We think this is a type of  "purse crab".  We also found some small shark eye shells and some very small olive shells - the little yellow one is only an inch long! We thought we would also show you our sand dollars now they are bleached. Which remind me - Mom wasn't to happy with me today as she found a little sand dollar about half the size of the ones we have previously found (must of been a half dollar) - and just as she went to pick it up - I stood on it and broke it :( Mom also finished painting a few more giant clams - sadly we haven't found any more of these big ones.

  9. Nice haul! My grandma loved to look for shells she had quite a collection from Florida and Myrtle Beach. Mom didn't have the heart to throw them all out and keeps the best ones in a glass bowl. Love Dolly

  12. We love to see close-ups of tiny critters! Right now, all the small creepy crawlies around here are gone for the winter. Although we did see a spider in the house yesterday. The shells are very pretty!

  14. Crikey .... you're finding treasures every day!! How good is that?? Our beaches are pretty empty in summer. There always seems to be more treasures in autumn and winter. Won't be long for us now.
