We haven't been doing much the last few days - between Moms bad toe and my jippy foot we have just been resting up and it is also soooooooo boring. The good news is today Mom and Dad went out and bought me a little red wagon so Mom can take me across the boardwalk and on to the beach (I am too heavy for her to carry). Neither of us can go walkies but at least we can sit and watch the world go by and I can have a little sniff around. Hopefully tomorrow we will get to try out my wagon and I can show you pics of it. PPPPPSSSS just an a useless bit of trivia - Do you notice Mom also has 'Morton's Toe" this is when the second toe is longer than the first toe and people with this condition can never become ballerinas because the weight would be on the wrong toe for balancing - it also makes buying shoes difficult :)
Ouchie, Mom's toe looks sore:( We hope the little red wagon works out. Mom used to use one for her little cockapoo who got too tired to keep up on the long walks we like to take. So she would walk along with Dakota and Phantom for as long as her little legs would allow, then she would hop in the wagon and take the ride:)

Owie owie owie! I hope you get to go to the beach soon Reilly. You and your mom (and yes, the Dweeb) need to get out into the fresh air. You'll all feel lots better. Can't wait to see the wagon! I hope you like riding in it!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you guys have had lots of problems arising lately...at least you can still enjoy the beach, Reilly, even if it is in a wagon. Paws crossed!
ReplyDeleteYour pal,
Christmas
I use to take my Shayla that way
ReplyDeleteA red wagon! What a stylish sheltie carrier for you Reilly! You are going to be the talk of the town.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend in third grade had toes like your mom, but hers weren't black and blue...ouch.
Hope you both get better soon! I know the feeling of ouchie toes. I had toe surgery in Sept.and they told me it could take at least a year till they feel normal again. Oh well,at least I can walk. Love the sock!
ReplyDeleteWe feel so bad for both of you!!! We hope the wagon works out so you can at least go have a look around and can do some air sniffies!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Ouch! Our dad's 2nd toe is longer like your mom's is, Reilly.
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to see you riding in your little red wagon☺
Mom says that she finally understands why buying shoes has always been more difficult for her than her friends who seem to be able to wear anything. Your poor Mom's toe sure does look like it hurts. Pawrars for you both.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your adventures in your wagon. That toe looks very, very painful!
ReplyDeleteHurting feets is bad so good thing you and your mom can ride in the wagon and your brother will have to pull it. BTW, who is Morton? Mom had Morton's Neuroma in her feets!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
MY mom has Morton's toe, too. She's just really clumsy!
ReplyDelete-Otto
ouchie ouchie! I broke my pinky toe once and it was not fun. Sorry for your footie ouchies and hope you are walking down to the beach soon.

OH BOYS! A wagon all your own??! Oh man! That is FABulous!!!! And, mighty thoughtful of your MOms! OUCH! Sorry abouts your Moms tooties....Ma's second toe is longer than her big toe too! Butts, to make it worse, she's got loooong toes too, and when she was a wee lass, her family used to call her monkey toes! It's true, she can pick anything up with her feets! BOL!!!! shhhh, don't tells anyone....
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
A wagon is a great idea. your mom's toe looks ouwchie!!
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
your mommas toe looks like a lot of ouch! I hope the pains go away soon ... POTP for your paw and your mom's paw... and weim-power that you both can enjoy YOUR beach soon...
ReplyDeleteProbably a good thing then that she is your mom and not a ballerina. Hope your trip to the beach goes well.
ReplyDeleteCrikey ... You blokes sure have problems in the feet department, aye? The wagons a great idea but maybe Denny should pull it aye? I'm surprised your Mom can walk at all with that MORTON toe thingoe let alone the black and blue business. Shoes must be awful difficult.

ReplyDeleteTranportation on its way? That's gonna brighten things up!!! (for Murphy's mum - two different doctors Morton involved; the toe is after Joy Dudley Morton and the neuroma after Thomas George Morton...that's my contribution to useless trivia for the day!) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Love the matching ouches! My mom is notorious for smashing toes so she knows how much it hurst. I love the idea about the wagon and I can't wait to see you out in it enjoying the fresh air. Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteIf ghostwriter didn't wear shoes or slippers all the time, she wouldn't have any toes left! Yes, she is that clumsy! But seriously, that toe looks really owie! Hope you both get better soon!
ReplyDeletethose are some MAJOR "ouchies!!" OMG!! Hoping your Mom (and you) heal soon and the wagon idea is genius!! DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteDouble ouchies! Take care of your tootsies. ♥
