Busy busy day

One of the things I love about the cooler weather is that I can go place in MY car with MY Mom. Today was just a "Reilly/Mom Day" too - the Dweebs had to stay home!

It started off with Dad giving Mom a beautiful anniversary card - today is their 9th wedding anniversary. Mom is funny - she loves her cards more then anything else and has kept every one that Dad has ever given her. I am so glad you guys found each other and became MY Mom and Dad.
Next Mom and I went to the Social Security office where she updated her information about being a US Citizen now.  Mom was very impressed - it is a brand new office and very nice inside.  We did have fun trying to find it though as it was off by itself and not in a business area at all.

Next we went downtown to the county clerk office where Mom put in her voter registration card - it's a big responsibility to vote but Mom is very proud to be able to have her small say.

On the way home I told Mom MY car is looking a little dusty so we called in and got the car washed.  Mom let me sit in the front seat while we went through - I had to dogervise that every spot got cleaned.  Mom's ribs were beginning to hurt quite a lot by then - so we didn't stop to vacuum the inside. Mom said all the fur just adds character!

When we got home Mom made a nice cup of tea and we went outside to sit in the sun and enjoy a cookie or two. These were some new one that are completely grain free and I must say they were VERY tasty. I hope every fur body has had a great day too.

Ohhhh we are joining in Jazzies Taco Day tomorrow. We have never had any kind of taco because Mom is allergic to any kind of pepper/peppers but Jazzi says we can make any kind of taco - hope you join in too.

  5. Thanks for telling us on our blog about the flea pill -- we will have to ask the vet about it next time -- they always just pointed us to the stuff that gets squirted on our backs. Thanks for the info!!!! Oh, and we are glad you had a nice day trip with your mom in the car.

  6. Glad you Mum is up and about. Sound like you had a full day. We want to do taco day too but we'll be a day late as Keltic has class tomorrow and I don't make a big meal, just something in the microwave.
