Any excuse to go to MY park is a good excuse and now Mom has come into this century with a smart phone (she has it all figured out already) - we went on our first geocaching adventure - and GUESS WHAT - there are 16 - YES 16 caches to find in MY park! How did I not know about these and how many times have we walked past them not even knowing they were there?Anyhoo - here we are finding the first one - which was pretty easy as the Mom all but tripped over this rock looking for it.
Someone had cleverly drilled a big hole in the rock and then put the cache container inside it. We found the list and put our names on it, there was also a purple fish and a penny in the cache and we left our own unique cow and card too. Oh - before we started off we got to enjoy the most beautiful sunrise too.
It's fun trying new things. Let the games begin. Good luck on the calender.
