Let it sleet - let it sleet - let it sleet

It looks likes it is snowing but this is just sleet. It still tastes very good though!!! We have been out munching on it and Mom has been grumbling because she has to stand waiting with a towel every time we come back in so she can dry us off. She just checked and there is about a half an inch of ice on the ground already...so far the power is holding is steady although it is getting very windy and that can cause problem with frozen lines.  Luckily all of our neighborhood has underground lines so hopefully we will be okay. It is supposed to switch to snow about 2.00 pm and we can't wait - one thing we LOVE is playing in and eating the snow.

  1. Well get ready, it just quit snowing here, and we got over 4 inches, fire up a fire, grab some blankies, have a hot drink, warm snack and watch it come down!

  10. Glad you got some sleet to play with. Being Chihuahuas we aren't so keen - it only takes a couple of inches till it's up to our armpits!

  18. Snow, glorious snow - we hope that sleet turns to snow. We might have to run over to your place to play since we have no snow here, and thankfully no ice either. Just bitter cold.

  19. Bowsers, that looks white. Did you see the pictures of Oz? The floods down under caused the spiders to come inland. The grass & trees look like they are covered in snow in places. Yuck.

Hope your Mum is doing better.

  20. Hi Reilly, Denny & Bree ~ Looks like I got your weather sleet, ice & snow though my power has been on and off since 2 A.M. and I am very cold.
The post office called and said I have a package waiting for me from you. I certainly was not expecting anything.
Can I wait till Christmas to open the package?? Living alone it has been years since I had my own package to open on Christmas. It is usually my dog who has the presents. Though maybe someone got you to do something for me. Well if so, please let them know.
    Thank You Very Muchly

  21. Hi Reilly & Denny - wow, we've just been catching up on your blog and you've had SO MUCH going on!!! First of all, we really hope your human is feeling much better - she had to go through so much lately, poor thing!

Oh, and we love those fancy bows & ties on you - you both look so dashing!! ;-) And your Min-Me's! So cute!!!!! :-)

I know we're on opposite sides of the world but it's still so weird to see you with sleet while we're having blazing sunshine in Oz! ;-)
