Good news and bad

Franklin's mom Bonnie called this morning and was very upset about one her kitties Emily. She has not eaten in two days and hasn't been drinking either so mom took her to the vets this morning and it seems she has liver failure. She is a pretty burman cat with startling blue eyes and is just over ten years old. What has shocked Bonnie is how quickly she became sick as she was just at the vets last week for her yearly checkup and everything was fine. Please keeps your paws crossed for Emily. The good news we have is that Franklin's results came back and NO ringworm !!!! Yippee, I can go and see my buddy again, in fact I am going over there now so we can check on Bonnie too.

  3. That is too sad about Emily... oh our kitty Littles is about 14. Emily is too young for a kitty!

I'm glad you can visit your friend again!

  4. Oh Reilly, I am so sorry to hear about Bonnies kitty :( I just lost my beloved kitty of 13 years, last month so I know how much it hurts. Please tell Bonnie that we are thinking of them both and wishing for the best. Also, I am so glad you will be able to see Franklin again as good doggie friends are hard to find. Keep that tail waggin. :)

  5. Well, glad to hear you can go and visit with your buddy again! We'll keep our paws crossed for the kitty - we're not hugely into C.A.T.s but for you we'll make (um - Jessie will make) an exception.

  6. Poor Emily - hope there is something the vet can do for her! 10 is not very old for a cat! But it's good news about Franklin and we hope you enjoyed your visit with him!
