Farmers Market Funnies
Mom and I went to the famers Market (she didn't get any pics because she couldn't juggle the camera, a lead (on which I wasn't tugging !!!) and a bag full of goodies all at once - (useless women). You can see where it was in the background of the donkey photo. After the shopping we went over the road to the ASU (Arkansas State University) small animals farm to check out the Alpaca and miniature donkeys. We had a good chuckle watching Mr Alpaca who has recently been sheered ...he was an itchin' and a scratchin' and looked so funny! And if you thought those donkey were up to something naughty - your were right - Mom couldn't show the next photos !!!

What a great outing. We have an Alpaca farm in the next town. They do look kind of funny without the wool.
ReplyDeleteMom is always trying to snap our pics and then when something good comes along she claims she is too busy to get the shots we wanted.
The Alpaca-babies are super cute, they wake my mom's protective instinct, she would like to hold them in her arms :o) btw: I've heard about such cams you can wear like a helmet, maybe that could be a good thingy for all who have dogs on a leash?
ReplyDeleteFor some odd reason, the hu-dad insists that we be well-behaved around the farm animals here. Still, we could sit and watch the horses in particular forever!

Poor alpaca. We noticed our sheep--the ones in the high school Ag plot have been sheared and it's getting COLD!
