I didn't mind at all not having him on the beach with us as Mom and I got to watch the USS Farragut (DDG-99) an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer returning home from deployment to Mayport which is its home base. She is the fifth Navy ship named for Admiral David Farragut (1801–1870), and the 49th ship of the Arleigh Burke class. Welcome home Navy Men and Women - we are proud of you all.

Just ME and Mom
Woo Hoo - today I got to go galumphing on the beach all by MYSELF - without the Dweeb. Can you believe that silly Dweeb hurt his front right leg on Saturday night - we are not sure if was from 'slamming the fence - (he jumps at it with both front feet when the neighbors dogs annoy him) or from playing ball - either way he is been hobbling and limping and has to go to the Dogtor this afternoon which was the first appointment we could get.
