An Apple A Day......
We picked the first apples off MY tree today - and what an apple is ! Check this out - all 13 ounces of it - gosh - we could make an apple pie with just this one apple! I have claimed this as MY apple though as one thing I love is some nice crunchy apple - Mom - peel that bad boy and slice it up thin - I am going in for some serious munching. Don't worry - I am letting Mom have the smaller apple and the best thing is there is still more apples growing on MY tree. Oh - we have no idea what type of apple it is - it was supposed to be a golden delicious but the shape and size and color are all wrong for that.

WOW that is one big apple!! I think maybe you can get even TWO pies from that thing!! Momma says it looks like maybe a Macintosh, or a Macoun maybe?

We have NO Idea what variety it is... butt that thingy is ENORMOUS.

We think you did right by allowing your mom to have the other one.. It is no slouch either.
And speaking of APPLES.... The apple cucumber seeds that you sent to us... have ALL come up and are growing really FAST... We are watchin them and keepin them safe.
OH and one other thingy... you know the Dachshund size beaver you sent... WE have Destroyed BOTH Beating Squeakers now... and are having a BLAST with the SKIN.
We just showed YOUR apple to our DAD... he is in AWE of your GIANT apple.

Wow, it's huge! Bet it will taste yummy. Too early here for apples yet, but I can't wait!
