We are having the best summer EVER so far, the temps have been in the high 70's and they say they are going to stay this way until the middle of next week!With such beautiful weather Mom says the 'call of the wild' or "the urge to go walk-a-bout' as the aussies say - is very strong so we have been off and exploring every day. We were at MY Lake Poinsette Park today - it is about 20 miles from where we live. The lake was like glass this morning and Mom loved the way everything was reflecting on the water like a mirror - bah humbug - we just wanted to get on to the sniffing and pee mail reading.
After the lake we headed up into the woods and check out this awesome spider web Mom almost walked in to. Mom says it was hypnotic watching the spider going around and around and was amazed how perfect the web was. She was even more amazed she was able to get such a great photo of it.
It is really amazing what a spider can do just with spit... they are super interesting, butt we better watch them with a distance. You have a beautiful park,the lake is really like a mirror it looks like a double world :o)

ReplyDeleteMy Momma has been suffering from a case of the bummers this past week, but she's feeling better now...and that means she's starting to feel that call of the wild, too! That spider web sure is pretty, but thinking of walking into that gives Momma the shudders! Good thing your Momma didn't!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a beautiful day there. We have had a week of very nice temps, but we hear the heat is coming back next week. It really has been so very nice. We have been able to spend a lot more time outside instead of in the a/c.
