Lake Poinsett - The Other Side

We have been to MY Lake Poinsett park many times. It is a small park and even though the lake is HUGE there isn't really a lot of public access to it. But yesterday Mom found a road that took us around the other side of the lake it and it was like finding a hidden treasure. There is actually public access on the other side too and this awesome dock/fishing area. The main access is in the middle of the lake but this one is right at the end so we got to see right down the entire length of the lake. We spent a lot of time just vegging as it was very humid but we will be back to explore some more soon. The other thing we loved was all the hidden houses around the lake - those people are so lucky to live there.

  1. Oh yes, that is our favourite thing here, finding unexpected new areas to explore. As you say, like a hidden treasure. It looks so pretty too.

  2. We agree as we love discovering new things to sniff out in our hood. Peeps probably thinks otherwise. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

  21. I love the photo of you two under the sign!

How cool to find a 'secret' entrance. I've been looking at a lot of lakefront property lately....dreaming. Those people who get to live or summer there sure are lucky.
