Snippet 1 - Many of you commented on the tortoises on Tuesday. Now something we must clear up is that these are indeed tortoises and not turtles. It is easy is to them apart - turtles have web feet for swimming where as tortoises have chubby little feet for walking. Turtles also have much flatter shells so they can slide through the water easier and tortoises look like little helmets. Here is one we had in MY yard last year and yes - they enjoy eating those mushrooms.Snippet 2 - We had fun on Wednesday seeing prices of items around the world. Seems like the faster and better the internet has become - the more expensive it is. Mom says she can remember the old dial up internet use to cost $15 a month and now the average seem to be around $60.
Snippet 3 - I was glad to see the the vast majority agree with ME on the issue of sharing with a sibling. There needs to be an understanding that the oldest gets the majority of treats - simple rule to follow I think :)

Today June 1 is also International Sheltie Day !!!!!! Mom is feeling better today so we got to have a pawsome walkies at the lake

Maybe one of your tortoise girls would like to live with Hell-mut? He is a lonesome rider... I like mom-time and yours was special on the market, I'm sure. Are that bird houses or smurfes on the left in the background?

I'm never embarrassed to snuggle. Sometimes when we are on a walk I just stop and wait until Mom gets down low so I can give her a hug and we have a short snuggle. Happy International Sheltie Day and enjoy that nice weather, we are stuck in rain storms today.
