Let it sleet - let it sleet - let it sleet

It looks likes it is snowing but this is just sleet. It still tastes very good though!!! We have been out munching on it and Mom has been grumbling because she has to stand waiting with a towel every time we come back in so she can dry us off. She just checked and there is about a half an inch of ice on the ground far the power is holding is steady although it is getting very windy and that can cause problem with frozen lines.  Luckily all of our neighborhood has underground lines so hopefully we will be okay. It is supposed to switch to snow about 2.00 pm and we can't wait - one thing we LOVE is playing in and eating the snow.

  1. Well get ready, it just quit snowing here, and we got over 4 inches, fire up a fire, grab some blankies, have a hot drink, warm snack and watch it come down!

  2. I'm more a fan of the artificial snow in my freezer, called ice cream :o) But your right even the real snow is very yummy (sadly sometimes you get a rumble in your tummy)

  3. Boy it is hard to walk on all that ice. Then with snow on top look out backside.
I hope the temp comes up and it all melts fast.
Keep mom safe and healthy guys.

  4. Stay warm and stay safe and we hope your power holds out. Have a fabulous Friday.
    Best wishes Molly

  5. Katie likes to eat snow too. We aren't that thrilled as we have to go out with her every time she wants to go out. Stay warm! Stay safe! Keep an eye on the mom!

  6. I wish it would snow here. I only saw it snow for a few mins last year.
Pees. Maybe you can mail me some snow.

  7. Glad you still have power! Underground wires are awesome!

    Stay warm, and don't slip.

  8. It is very cold here but the sun is ice but we heard on sunday it may visit southeastern iowa.

  9. You can keep your snow, we are happy to wait a while before seeing the white stuff!

  10. Glad you got some sleet to play with. Being Chihuahuas we aren't so keen - it only takes a couple of inches till it's up to our armpits!

  19. Bowsers, that looks white. Did you see the pictures of Oz? The floods down under caused the spiders to come inland. The grass & trees look like they are covered in snow in places. Yuck.

Hope your Mum is doing better.

  20. Hi Reilly, Denny & Bree ~ Looks like I got your weather sleet, ice & snow though my power has been on and off since 2 A.M. and I am very cold.
The post office called and said I have a package waiting for me from you. I certainly was not expecting anything.
Can I wait till Christmas to open the package?? Living alone it has been years since I had my own package to open on Christmas. It is usually my dog who has the presents. Though maybe someone got you to do something for me. Well if so, please let them know.
    Thank You Very Muchly

  21. Hi Reilly & Denny - wow, we've just been catching up on your blog and you've had SO MUCH going on!!! First of all, we really hope your human is feeling much better - she had to go through so much lately, poor thing!

Oh, and we love those fancy bows & ties on you - you both look so dashing!! ;-) And your Min-Me's! So cute!!!!! :-)

I know we're on opposite sides of the world but it's still so weird to see you with sleet while we're having blazing sunshine in Oz! ;-)

  22. I hope you both get as much snow as you would like, but not so much that it annoys the pawrents!!
I love you two in the baubles!

    (and Arran too, I guess)

  23. Did you get a lot of snow? We have nothing here, no storm at all, it all went south. I'm thinking Ricky got quite a lot. Katie says she wants some snow!

  24. Goodness what weather you are having! Its FREEZING cold here no walks today, so far. Please be care if you go for a walk in the snow, you can't see the ice (ask mom she knows)! Love Dolly

  25. Bowsers, that sure looks pawsome. I bet you two are slip sliding around.
