Last night we went for an evening walkies on the beach and just happened to see the "Carnival Elation" leaving on its cruise down to the Bahamas. Now you may remember Mom and Dad ABANDONED us last year when they went on the sister ship to this - the Carnival Fascination. They didn't talk much about it because they didn't really enjoy the cruise at all (people smoking all over the ship, yucky food and disappointing ports of call basically sums it up). So of coarse when we saw this ship I just had to try and warn them - but did they listen - noooooooooooooo - the fools just stood there on the deck waving happily as they headed off right into a storm. They can't say I didn't try to warn them :)
Well you can say it plainer than that Reilly and if won't listen to you....well, its more fool them!
ReplyDeleteI say, your beach looks lovely today, did you find any treasures?

ReplyDeleteBOL.. oh Reilly, you got that right!!! As much as I love shipping, there is just something very off-putting about the idea of being stuck on one like this and paying silly sums of money for it! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Lady and Man love cruising. They would move us to a cruise ship if it would take us. Sorry your peeps had such a bad time. Cool to see such a big ship!
ReplyDeleteLOVE YU BOTH SO MUCH REILY AND DENNY. XXXXX
ReplyDeleteWell you did your best Reilly. You can't save everyone from silly decisions.
ReplyDeleteNice of you to try and warn them! I guess they will have to find out for themselves!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you tried!
ReplyDeleteReilly you need a big sign or maybe a billboard that flashes saying suckers! Pray those onboard have a better outcome than your peeps had. We have never been on a cruise.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot

We have only been on one cruise but it was to Alaska. Probably the most incredible cruise EVER! If you haven't been, you would love it.

ReplyDeleteMom used to think going on a cruise would be fun - but not anymore. too many people and too many problems that you hear about
ReplyDeletehugs
Mr Bailey, Hazel & Mabel
They should have listened to you, Reilly! That is one huge ship!
ReplyDeleteMy mom has taken many cruises. She says it really depends on the type of cruise and the cruiseline as to whether it is good of not. A lot of the Carnival ones are more party cruises, not really for serious travel type things.
ReplyDeletewell, you tried your best. they are fools not to listen to the voice of experience. c'est la vie.
