While Katie was visiting our Moms decided to get up very early and we all headed down to the beach to watch the sun rise over the ocean - there was just one problem a big old sea fog rolled in everywhere looked dark and grey and it was a chilly 50 degrees (we know you are laughing but it was cold for here in Florida). Miss Dawn took this wonderful photo of Mom and us as we strolled along.
It was still a beautiful walk, just not what we had planned! Katie had a wonderful time and wasn't scared of the waves even though they were bigger than she'd ever seen. She says to say thank you for taking us out there so early so we could sniff the fog!
ReplyDeleteSunshine isn't needed to make a photo like such incredible!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very special photo. Even without the sun, the beach looks very inviting.

Crikey ..... that's some fog, aye?? We don't get fogs here but when we go to Sydney we sometimes see a fog roll in at the beach. It's very eerie when it does but beautiful still.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day.

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe other night when it was snowing, I laid down in the snow and looked up as the snow fell all over my face. It was magical watching it all cascade down from the sky. Yes, we love the sun, but sometimes when its hidden the really cool stuff happens.
Sometimes a day where the sun isn't shining is a nice change up.
