A Serious Disconnect
So Mom says we are going to have a nice "Spa Day" today and I am thinking - pawsome - trip to the beach, lounging in a chair - a nice hamburger patty (hold the bun), beach umbrella, gentle breeze, waiter bringing cold water and cookies when ever I want them - sigh! Instead this is what I got - feet trimmed, nails done, butt shaved (Oh the indignity of it!!!!) ear cleaned and BRUSHED so much I barely have a hair left on my body!!!!! Mom - we have a serious disconnect when it comes to this whole communication thing about what constitutes a spa day ! Revenge is sweet though - she was so tired after doing all this and still had to start cleaning up and vacuuming !!! And YES - Denny got the spa treatment too !

Oh my! That's a whole other dog laying there in all that fur Reilly! But admit it...you feel lots better dont you? And that's what a spa day is all about. Though I do think you should have got the burger too.

Oh dude, that looks like five pounds of fur! You lost five pounds!! OMD, that is FABulous! Maybe all I needs is a good furcut, and I can gets off this damn diet! oh waits, I don't have an undercoat....crap. hey, you looks amazin' and no blood or cuts! Your spa day is already better than mine! ☺

Gee that is a lot of hair! My mom usually caves in after a while and stops brushing when she thinks she collected enough hair off us. By the looks of that picture, we are so lucky!

PS: Sorry for our absence! Mom has been working hard on her occupational therapy and it's left her hands pretty wiped out. Stronger, but wiped out.
SPA Day! We think that was false advertising! But we do agree with Bertie. We just think you should have been told the truth. Now you're all set for YOUR definition of SPA day.

Wow! That's a lot of fur! I have to go to the "spa" every two months to get a buzz cut. I especially hate to get the fur shaved from between my toes. Ghostwriter says my furry feet are dirt magnets! Just keep in mind, you'll feel a lot cooler and more comfy in the hot weather.
