Run Free My Sweet Little Denny
My beautiful Denny left us this morning..... he went very peacefully in my arms as I softly stroked his beautiful face and told him how much we all loved him. His kidneys had stopped working. Run free my sweet little boy.
Oh my! Lots of love and prayers for peace for your family. Run free sweet Denny. You will be so greatly missed. We haven't been around very much but we loved listening to your Mom's stories about you. Go in peace sweet one.

ReplyDeleteThis is heartbreaking. He was such a sweet little man. I loved it when he finally trusted me enough to come get a pat or a toy or a treat. Especially a treat. I'm thankful I got to spend time with them both last April. Thank you for that. Run free sweetie, no pain, no fear, only happy times over the bridge.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm over here from Dawn and Katie's blog (our Shelties are about the same age). My Dallas was diagnosed with kidney issues earlier in the year, but he refused to eat the special diet, so I've put him back on the stuff he was on before. Losing a beloved member of the family is the worst. Run free, Denny, and be glad you're not in pain anymore!
ReplyDeleteI am SOOOOO very sorry to hear that Denny has gone over the bridge. It was way to early for him.
ReplyDeleteSending Prayers and Hugs full of Love to you.
Bentley & Pat

ReplyDeleteI am sure that Sherman was waiting to greet Denny. Denny was a pawsome pup. It is always tough when they leave so young.
ReplyDeleteDog Speed,
Gemini
We are sure Sherman was there to greet Denny. It is ruff on hooomans, when a pup crosses the bridge. Katie told us Reilly is having a ruff go of it too. We hope that Reilly stays with you several more years. The world needs more Cow Spot Dogs.
ReplyDeleteWe thought we left a comment behind several days ago, but we don't see it. Sigh.
Dog Speed,
Gemini & Dog Dad
So sorry to hear of Denny's passing, he was still so young. Give Mr. Reilly a big hug from Beckett, Keltic and me. Hugs to you too.
