Winning Paws Down

We have been pondering how to display our cards as in our old house we had a fireplace and mantle we could hang them from but in our new house we don't have this and being a rental house we can't go putting up hangers and such all over the place. Mom looked on line at lots of different options but then the other day she was in a store and saw this cool "twig" Christmas tree and thought it would be perfect for hanging all our cards on. The little baubles on the end of the branches also light up :) Now we have to share a silly story - the tree had been up for three hours when Dweeb suddenly 'noticed' it and stood there growling and barking at it - even though he had been walking past it for the previous three hours - and people wonder why I call him the Dweeb! As for our card count - we have 45 cards and the peeps have 0. (We are in two Christmas card exchanges this year which is why we have so many) Not that we are bragging or anything - but we are winning the card count paws down!

    45:0 that would be a fabulous soccer game result :o) I like this idea, it looks better than the chimney and you haven't to rearrange it 87 times :o) good find!!!

    Wow, that is a lot of cards! We have 9 and our peeps have 0. They didn't even get a Hanukkah card this year, teehee. Love the tree!

    I really like that little tree, you could use it all year round for different things, like eggs at Easter or flowers in summer.

    That's so funny that it took him 3 hours to notice it! Bahahahaha!

    Also, that's a brilliant idea with the twig tree! Good job on winning the card count! It's really no contest though, is it? ;)

    Very clever way to display your Christmas cards! We haven't got any yet, but we usually use metal card displays which we've had for a couple of years now, or I keep them on my desk.

    Wow, what a beautiful tree for your cards! At the rate you're going, you might need another one to hold them all. BOL I bet the lights make the cards all glow.

    that is the perfect solution. We only have two so far lol. But then again, we haven't snail mailed any yet either, not sure that we will be able to send a ton this year....but we have emailed many to those who want them. DakotasDen
