Mom said she needed to go de-stress and there is nothing better than a walk on the beach and breathing in the fresh salt air to do that - so off we went. We are still surprised every time we go to see how much MY beach has changed since the hurricane - the sand seems to be much finer and there is a lot more of it, the sand dunes and all the pretty grasses that grew on them have gone and the actual shape of the beach has changed - there is also a lot more drift wood on my beach now. We will eventually get use to the new look and eventually it will be more like we remember but until then - it gives us a lot of new places to explore.
So adorable! xxxx
ReplyDeleteAnd it gives you pawsome places to sit and pose...looking good there you handsome fellas

Gosh I have missed so much ~ you moved ~ love the house the way you can see the fireplace from the kitchen and the double doors! Luck Dogs. So now there are those armadillos instead of geese just down the road four miles, always something. With the beach I was thinking of your shells when I saw how these shells were painted for Christmas. http://www.hometalk.com/24683489/santa-shell-ornament?se=fol_new-20161115-1&date=20161115&slg=4caabf51084ac6dfd3c578688a79d1ee-7248221

Wow! Lots of new stuff to check out! Maybe you'll find some new shells. Hopefully there won't be any more hurricanes.
ReplyDeleteThat driftwood is giant! I'm sure once you get used to it, the ocean will change it again. That will always give you new stuff to explore.
ReplyDeleteNothing like fresh air!

Sometimes change is good! Glad you're out and enjoying that beach again.
ReplyDeleteAnd we bet that walk helped Mom out a lot - ours thinks the beach is the most calming place to be - too bad we are so far away.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
I think I need to take Gail for a walk to the beach.
ReplyDeleteOh and isn't it great when you get some new places to explore without going anywhere different?
Toodle pip!

any beach is a good beach!! DakotasDen
ReplyDeleteI have never been through a hurricane, and this is my first time living through continuously burning forest fires all along the mountain range. The smoke has been awful the last month, with no rain predicted. ~Amy
ReplyDeleteDrift wood is really cool though, lots of fun to see what you can see in the shapes.
ReplyDeleteMa needs about 87 of those!! BOL That beach looks like just the pawfect place to do it....
ReplyDeleteKisses,
