Dad doesn't channel me as well as the mom so please bare with him. Mom is still in the hospital...the doctor says she might come home on Monday. I wish Dad had a therapy dog vest so he could take me to see her. We have also gotten bunches of snow. If I could stand on it I could escape because it is over the fence in my back yard. Here is what my front walk looks like.

Thank you all for you thoughts and prayers for my Mom.

  1. Oh, we are so sorrry to hear that your mommy is back in the hospital. Thank your daddy for letting us know.

Our love and prayers are with your mommy for a speedy recovery.

    riley and Star.

  2. Dear Reilly,

It's sad that your mom had to go back to the hospital. I went through your posts and realized that the problem is with the infection. I think that if she stays at the hospital for a couple of days, until the mouth of the drain closes cleanly, it would be much better for her.

I know that being at the hospital can be a truly traumatic experience for the patient - but if you explain it to her with your big, innocent-eyed caring look, she will understand:)

I shall keep my paws crossed and pray that your mom recovers completely and becomes healthy soon. Then the three of you can run in the park, play, and have tons of fun:)

PS: Tell your mom that yours is one of the prettiest blogs that I've visited this season:)

    Licks n wags,

  3. Don't even think about escaping over your fence, Reilly! Your mom and dad both need you!
Our paws are crossed that your mom comes home tomorrow!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  4. That is a lot of snow! Thank you Dad for keeping us up to date. We do so hope Mom is home soon - we reckon Reilly you will need to be smuggled into the hospital - you could pretend to be a large stuffie.
Your mom will be missing you as much as you are missing her.
We do so hope she is home and better soon.
    Thinking of you all.
    Martha, Bailey & Mum xxxxxxxxx

  5. Reilly I am very sorry to hear that your mom is still in the hospital! I know the doctors will do their best to help her feel better! Tell your dad to give your mom a big hug from us!

  6. Reilly, what a sad Christmas for you and your family! I'm sure your Dad is doing his very best to take care of you and visiting your Mom in the bad hospital. I bet your Mom misses you something terrible! We will keep praying that she is home with you soon, and all better as well! You're a good boy to be so patient. Just a little longer and your Mom will be home safe and sound!

  7. We are thinking this is a not a good time to test that fence theory. Trust us, we are fence testing marvels, but sometimes you have to be nice to the humans.

Hope your mom gets well quickly.

  8. We're hoping your Mom gets to come home today!

Thank you for woofing at us - we read each and every one of them
