Blue Moon

Did you see the Blue Moon on Thursday - it wasn't really blue, they just call it that because it happens so rarely - 2 full moons in a single month - giving 13 full moons in a year. They usually happen about ever three years. The next one will occur in 2018 - January 2 and January 31. - better mark it in your calendars :)

    I sadly missed that blue moon (oh boy now the song sticks in my head for the whole day hehehe) I currently sleep the whole night like a log and furgot to visit my back yard 87 times... but I will mark the next one in my pawlendars, that's for sure :o)

    Well sweeties we have been awol but did see the moon..made for a really nasty night sleep here..very weird indeed..and the kitties were nuts! you both look very blue steel there :) hugs Fozziemum xx

    Yes we saw it, our mom even took some photos in the middle of the night. Weird if you ask us...

    Look at you blue dogs! We saw the moon in person, Taffy always needs to go out at 4:30 and Rhette wants fed then so we got to enjoy the moon a lot this month! Love Dolly
