We haven't been doing much the last few days as it is unseasonably warm for November here in Florida. Yesterday we actually broke the record for November temps - we hit 89 degrees and the previous record was 86 for this time of year. It is not so much the heat we don't like but the humidity which is super high - everything feels damp! Still we can't complain - it still beats having to deal with the cold and snow and we get to enjoy the early morning out on the lanai while Mom reads the newspaper - to bad all the chairs are taken Mom :)
oh wow... seems Florida is a little like Oz this month :o) we have a hairstylekilling humidity too here... but we are far away from 89° :o)
ReplyDeleteDon't ya just love it, especially when hearing reports of below-freezing temps and snow in other parts of the country. Spring and Fall are the nicest seasons here in Florida...enjoy!
ReplyDelete;)
There are definitely some perks to living in warm state!

Ugh. Don't you love living in places with only one season-the hot season??
ReplyDeleteHey, we're having a heat wave too. Yes really. 60F here in Aberdeen yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThat Bertie.....60° BOL!. Cool this morning and rainy. We don't mind the hot weather staying away. (Maybe Santa Paws will bring your mum her own chair for the lanai...)
ReplyDeleteIt was like that this last weekend! Butts then the big storm came and brought the cold..YEA!!! It was FABulous! rain AND cold..Ma's favorite...I could have done without the wet...I hates gettin' my furs wet! hehehehe

You guys look adorable. It's been unseasonally warm here in the North too. It's November and Mom still is wearing her light weight clothes. She's not complaining.
ReplyDeleteMy momma WISHES it wuz dat hot here. Me, I'll take our 70 degrees.
ReplyDeleteWe are back in the 80s here, too! Just the lower, though --- and the mornings are cool for nice walkies!
ReplyDeleteSave us a seat - that looks like a great place to hang out!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We aren't fans of the heat either. We are waiting for cold and snow to finally arrive.
ReplyDeleteWe are very happy that it's cooled off here. We're not fans of it being overly warmish.
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

I have lived in humid Louisiana my whole life and I"m still not used to it! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteIt has been so hot and humid - it's like that here in Georgia but just throw in rain to the mix. It's miserable. Wake me when it's spring okay my friends. XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteIt must be even hotter with all that fur! We heard your temps this morning and thought about you. Its been right around 70 here all week just short of records, but much nicer! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteWe are having record high temperatures here too! Hooray! It's Indian Summer!
ReplyDeleteAs we say to Mum, there is plenty of room on the floor!
