Usually cloudy mornings mean cool temps - but no such luck here - it was still 89 degrees at 7.00 this morning - we had a very quick walk and were very happy to jump back in my air conditioned Sheltie Mobile.
We had cloud cover yesterday morning , too, but still HOT when we walked just after sunrise. And 90% humidity! You should have seen what that did to our mom's hair! (What's that, Mom? ...oh. Oh. Right.) OK, no, you shouldn't have seen what it did to our mom's hair. Ha roo roo roo! Y/s, Margaret Thatcher
We are already experiencing cooler weathers in the mornings and evenings here in Canada! So much nicer than the hot weather when it's too hard to walkie and too hot to sleep! I'll try blowing some of our cool air your way.
We know what you mean. My dad spent most of last week in New York. High temperatures and humidity and he thinks that AC is one of the greatest inventions of all time. Oh, there's ice cream too. Another great invention.
OMD, I truly don't knows how you guys do it!!!! I won't tells you how cool it got today, butts it's like heaven here! I will try and send some of it your way, k? Kisses, Ruby ♥
Wow. Thank heavens for AC!

ReplyDeleteBut you know my friends. My mom says that a cloudy day on the beach is still a better day than at work. Great pic! XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteWe could use some rain clouds here! Everything is drying out!
ReplyDeleteyep, hot up here in New England too!
ReplyDeleteStay cool!
ReplyDeleteI wish a cloudy morning meant cooler temperatures too. Though it looks like you may have had a bit of a breeze while at the beach.
ReplyDeleteOur AC doesn't work. It is cooler outside than in. So, Mommy and i are outside in the carport. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHOLY HOT HOT HOT... WOW... you could singe your furs at that temp... so early in the AM.
ReplyDeleteYEP... get in the AC and STAY...
It actually seemed a bit cooler down here in SW Florida this morning. Of course, the clouds are coming in along with more thunder! :(

ReplyDeleteIt's been hot and humid here too, but we are now getting a break for a few days. At least the clouds keep that direct sun off you.
ReplyDeleteWe can tell how hot you are by the tongues hanging out not to mention all of that fur! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteIt was pleasant here. Katie spent most of the day outside.
