Meeting Flossie

We headed over to MY  Ed Austin Cowspotdog Park today - it is a huge fenced dog park where we can run free and sniff to our hearts content. We had it all to ourselves to begin with and then Flossie arrived - she is 8 months old and just bounces and runs everywhere - she exhausted us just watching her !!!! As you can see - it is a nice shady park which we really enjoyed - Mom not so much - she got attacked by mosquitos! By time we left 8 other doggies had arrived and they were running around chasing each other and having so much fun. Can you believe everyone was eeeewwwing and aaarring over the Dweeb - they said he was sooooo cute simply because every time Mom stopped walking he would squeeze himself between her feet and try to make himself invisible.

  1. That looks like a nice dog park, with lots of shade! Too bad about the mosquitoes. I've only taken Katie to a dog park once, and when the other dogs showed up we went home. She's not a fan of being run over by bigger, younger, playful dogs. She gets scared and tries to hide behind me just like the Dweeb.

  2. That sounds like tons of fun --- except for the mosquito part! Our mom said every bug in the state of Kansas has already had a piece of her. It's not always good to be liked, I guess.

  3. We have never been to an actual dog park. There aren't any around here. Sigh...they always look like fun. I'm glad that you both enjoyed yourselves. Mosquitoes can ruin a good time.

  5. Our Riley became dog aggressive after being attacked 3 times during the same outing in a dog park. Really soured me on the whole experience. I am glad you boys had only good dogs with you at the park.

  7. Aside from the pesky mosquitoes, that park sounds like a lot of fun. We bet Flossie's humans were very happy to tire her out:)

  11. We like to go to dog parks when they aren't very busy too. When they are crowded it is no fun at all.
