Evening Walkies
We have been visiting the beach in the evening lately usually around 6.30 as there have been some nice north easterly winds coming in off the sea which makes it feel cooler near the water - we told Mom we don't mind what time of day we go - so long as we GO ! Luckily here in Florida it doesn't start getting dark until around 8.30 so evenings are great time to be out and about and if we stay near the beach - there are no bugs!

You two always look so handsome in the late light along the beach! Great smiles, too.

the late summer evenings are special... apart from the early morning, they are the best time to visit the beach :O)
ReplyDeleteperfect way to end the day!
ReplyDeleteHope no tropical storm comes in by you. No bugs now that I would love.
ReplyDeleteWe got over five inches of rain in under an hour last evening we were at alert one in the city for roads flooded ~ they actually closed down part of the interstate and the Norwood Lateral was under six feet of water.
Thanks for being a friend

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty time of day. Did you find any good stinky smells?

The Texas heat is ridiculous so I prefer taking evening walks, plus mom isn't a morning person.

Oh my friends. My mom needs sand between her toes STAT. That picture looks totally calming. I can see ya'll smiling! XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteThat looks refreshing with the wind and the sea. Ghostwriter used to take us for walks after dark because it was cooler, and less humans out and about for us to bark at. She especially liked it when there was a storm coming.
ReplyDeleteWe love to walk at night too, right when the sun goes down so it is a lot cooler for us. But that's also when those pesky gnats come out and drive the Mom nuts.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
Great time to go for a walk. We've been waiting until after supper too but we only go to the local park.
ReplyDeleteWe can see the breeze blowing through your furs!

Around here the mosquitoes are out of control, so we are not out much in the evenings anymore. Mom gets eaten alive. We stick to early mornings.
