That looks like a great way to spend a day. Too bad they don't allow doggies.
ReplyDeleteMmmm, my Ma and Daddy-dog love funnel cake! I bet the your parents had a great time at the fair!
ReplyDeleteOh that's such a super event... and how bad that such people were in the way to watch all that great things. my momma promised me to visit such a festival in normandy with me too... but my dad raised his eyebrows to the high heaven and said no... how mean...
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! We love these pictures. One of the very first dates that mom/dad went on was a visit to the Renaissance Festival - such fond memories! XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day your peeps had!! Hopefully one day they will allow doggies!!

ReplyDeleteWe love funnel cake! Good thing it's only available during Fair season!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant thing to do! They have those Medieval fairs over here too.
ReplyDeleteLove little Flea, he looks smaller than your dogs.

What fun. Mom and Dad abandon us in the fall to attend a Medival Fair.
ReplyDeleteNeat-0! Our friends in Florida went to one. Wonder if it was the same event
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
DARN.... we are sure it would have been WAY more FUN... with you two along...
ReplyDeleteFunnel cake is the absolute best. I've never been to a Medieval fair, but have always wanted to go. Fire breathers always give me the creeps
ReplyDeleteExcept for the "no dogs allowed" part, that looks like a lot of fun! That first horse Gypsy Van looks HUGE!!! Maggie and I love horses. We would have wanted to go. Especially after hearing about the funnel cake!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
What a great day out...except for the rude tall people AND that certain dogs were left out!
ReplyDeleteOh, what fun at the festival!!! We have a Renaissance Festival here in the fall, and the humans seem to enjoy it a lot. We think we might really enjoy that funnel cake:)

What a fun time for your peeps, Reilly and Denny! We see funnel cake at Durham Fair every year but mom and dad have never tried it.
ReplyDeleteSo your mom went a place you cannot go and then had fun? OK, maybe if it was cuz it is almost her birfday we will say it is OK just one time!
ReplyDeleteKeep Calm & Bark On!

Did your Mom and Dad see Giacomo the Jester, Looney Lucy, Empty Hats? My friend Marianne has a booth there too (if only I could remember the name of her store!) where she sells wind spinners, handmade soap and creams and various other things. She has a black puppy named Jack who comes with her to all the faires!
ReplyDeleteCrikey ...... that all looked great. Shame, shame, shame you two couldn't go. I've been to one of those medieval thingoes. I had a lot of fun but I didn't get any funnel cake. I've never heard of it. Oh well ...... google here I come.
ReplyDeleteThey have medieval faires not too far from here. I'd like to go after seeing your photos.
ReplyDeleteLooks like our Renaissance Festival.
